Curtis’ What’s Hot - What’s Not!

(Curtis) R. Curtis
Sr. VP, Sales & Marketing
Curtis has been with Superb Internet since 2000, leading Sales & Marketing efforts, as well as ensuring that Superb is providing to its customers the ultimate hosting experience that is expected from one of the oldest hosting providers in the industry.
As one of the “old men” of the Internet and co-founder of one of the industry’s first Internet Service Providers (ISPs), he brings a wealth of industry experience to Superb’s customers and Management team. He has over 20 years of successful Technology management experience, with extensive expertise in strategic market planning & implementation, product development, customer service and sales management. Yet, it is Curtis’ dedication to his customers; his unwavering, passionate demand that the customer is always No. 1 where he excels.
Since 1990, Curtis has been involved in the evolution of the Internet, working first as a consultant with the government, then in 1993, moving on to the startup and management of Helix Internet. After facilitating the successful sale of the ISP to Norsat Int’l in 1996, he then was engaged as Managing Director of BridgeLinks Technologies, working with many of the leading telecommunication companies developing their online services. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor’s degree in Economics & Computer Programming and did his Post Graduate degree in Marketing and Business Law.
When he is not looking after Superb’s customers, in his free time, he loves being with his beautiful wife and 2 boys, enjoying the great reasons for living in Vancouver. Minutes away from Superb’s head office, he can be on his catamaran flying across English Bay or up in the mountains, skiing or snowboarding or mountain biking, depending on whether the snow is powder or hard packed or not at all. Then just a hop across Georgia Strait and he can be found riding the surf off Long Beach (he uses a long board these days but surfing is surfing, right?). A true outdoor buff, Curtis enjoys ocean kayaking and scuba diving both locally and globally as well as getting onto the tennis courts whenever he can.
