Not to take anything away from Hillary Clinton as she has been quite successful in her own right and it seems quite likely she will become the Dem. candidate for the next presidntial election, but if she does become 'the most powerful person in the world,' it will be attributed to the mistakes of the Rep. party as much as anything else. The damage to the Rep. party over the last 8 years will probably put them in tough to win again.
